Do you ever feel sometimes you want to be in a place where you can just forget all the pressures of being an adult and just be inspired to live life? In my case, I do feel most of the time lately this year. So few months ago, I decided to go on a trip to Rome and my main goal was simple: to let loose. Meaning, to fully enjoy the travel without stressful thinking. It’s when I allowed myself to break free, I was able to discover more about me.

Schengen Visa Application in a European Country
I currently work and reside in Cyprus, a European Country in the East Mediterranean,
but despite of my work and residency permit, I still need to apply for a Schengen
Visa should I wish to visit some nearby countries within Europe (i.e. Schengen
Member States). For those who doesn’t have a powerful passport like mine,
applying for a travel visa could be tedious as it requires a whole lot of
documentations and proving of one’s capacity to travel. It’s a tiresome process
but I do understand its importance and the security reasons for implementing
it. Let me share with you my experiences in applying for Schengen Visa and hopefully,
it will guide you in your preparation for your plans to travel in Europe.

Greece | Traveling Solo in a Romantic Island, Santorini
Santorini, Greece is recognized as one of the most romantic places in
the world but despite of what it’s known for, I managed to travel there alone. It
has been my dream to witness the sunset in Santorini and I wouldn’t mind going
there on my own. Maybe for some people, they find it a little awkward to wander around
a place they thought surrounded mostly by couples expressing proudly of
their love and intimacy. But trust me, when I was there I’ve seen a lot of
soloist and soul-searching travelers too. Thus, Santorini is a place for everyone! And
even if I was there by myself, I enjoyed every single bit of it.

Cyprus | The Tombs of the Kings
In the southwest coast of the Mediterranean Island of Cyprus lies a monumental location where you’ll see underground tombs that are said to be the burial sites of Paphitic aristocrats and high-ranking officials during the 4th Century BC. This place is named as The Tombs of the Kings and it’s one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Contrary to its name, there were no actual Kings buried in this place but because of its grandeur and magnificence, the locals trademarked the place with a grand name.

A Lovely Dinner at Dionysus Mansion
I always have a thing
about dinner because for me, it’s the most special meal of the day when you can
truly enjoy and spend real quality time after a long day. So once in a while, I
want to dine out in a special place where I can relax and have a lovely dinner.
Few nights ago, while
walking on the streets of Limassol, we passed by Dionysus Mansion Restaurant
where it’s known for its purple garden dining area. The moment I walked in the
restaurant, I knew it was going to be a pleasant dinner.
